About company: Founded in 2018, ProBit Global is a Top 20 cryptocurrency platform featuring access to more than 800 cryptocurrencies and over 1000 different markets. ProBit Global aims to position itself as a world-class exchange for both crypto enthusiasts and novice investors, and boasts a user base of more than 2,000,000 active users, globally.
ProBit Global outsources the majority of their
marketing/branding activities to DNSEver (the latter being my previous employer).
I played a role in making an animation that is used as a GIF inside the welcome email for new costumers. See example on the left.
The main goal with this animation is to provide a quick impression of the platform’s features. ProBit Global offers crypto-related products. Participating in the crypto economy can feel abstract, so I chose to use simple icon designs. Roughly half of the icon designs were based on designs provided by UI designer Hwangwon Ryu (류황원), the rest were made by me.
The moving grid that contains animated icons suggests what the platform not only features, but also relates to:
- Exchanging goods
- Economy
- Saving money
- Rigid systems
I applied the color palette that was provided by the UI designer and tried to visually implement the company’s mission: a trustworthy and secure platform for exchanging digital assets.
