About me
Hi! This is Bastiaan.
I’m a Motion Designer & Multimedia Designer based in Amsterdam since 2025. I’m originally from The Netherlands, where I studied fine arts at Minerva Art Academy. After graduating in 2017, my focus shifted from visual art towards motion design because of my passion for animation.
Prior to moving to Amsterdam, I lived in South Korea for 6 years. Living in the capital, Seoul, was a pivotal moment in my career. I learned to create in different ways, working closely with clients to come up with concepts and styles that allow them to fully realize their ideas. I’m also big on mountains, and have hiked almost every mountain in South Korea (and there are a lot of mountains there). After moving back to the lowlands, I got into sport climbing in climbing halls due to the complete lack of mountains.
